Has being a designer been my right path?
This question has been linger in my mind for several times lately.
To be designer is indeed not a common answer when someone ask you "what would you like to be when you grow up?" when you were still a little boy/girl. Of course to be a doctor would be as popular as pilot or engineer answer. And so were mine, to be a designer is never once crossed in my mind when I was a little girl. But here I am now, running myself deadlines over deadlines to design and draw, trying to have my projects done nice and smooth.
But has being a designer been my right path?
I've seen so many friends in other lines, and not interested at all. So does that mean that I do like being a designer? Like it or not, I do have passion in design, any kind of design, especially architecture&interior. Design is the only real food to my soul. But I do feel that being a designer is rather overated, usually this feeling pop out whenever I'm in a very tight deadlines until I can't focus just for doing a single living room interior design. Yah, sometimes it's like that... Always remember, too much is always not good.
So if you still questioning if this is my right path, I would like to say, yes it is! I could never picture myself in any other path than a to become a designer.
And if you think you're not in the right path, whatever you are now, just remember one thing : try to picture yourself being any other path, and feel it with your whole heart, would that feel right for you? Then you'll know the answer :-)
