After two years practicing my architecture&interior in Singapore, I was find out then, that most of my clients are very particular about Feng Shui. At first I was just being normal responding Feng Shui things, because for me, life is about how you deal with your days, in past and present. But I do strongly believe in Karma. So for the rest of my life I will always remember that whatever we did in our past&present days will be reflected in our future someday. As a moslem I also believe in Qada&Qadar. Qada is our written destiny and Qadar is our achievement destiny.
Until one day, there’s this one of my clients whose I did they interior design last year. They happened to come to me again and ask for more renovation for their house. They were one of my clients who strongly believe in Feng Shui. And last year, they came to me with the full reading by their Feng Shui Master. So that time I designed their interior accordingly to whatever the Feng Shui Master was recommended. Surprisingly, this time when they came back to me, they said that their family has increased value in almost every aspects, financial, harmonious, education, etc. I was surprise by everything they were telling me.
So as my curiosity, I asked some other clients whose I did their house design with some Feng Shui amendments, and again, I was surprised that their life are improving. I just felt that there must be something behind all these Feng Shui things. Not to betray my belief as a moslem, I tried to start googling about Feng Shui. And there’s a lot of links that led me to so many definition, practice, and techniques about Feng Shui. But then I was ended up at this Feng Shui meet up club. The members of the club used to have some meets up organized by the author : Amy Ness. It’s in Singapore, and I was thinking that it would be more interesting to meet up people who can share about Feng Shui. Sometimes it’s more fascinating to learn from other people directly than to read from the books.
So tonight was my first meet up with the Feng Shui Club. The meet up was held at The Coffee Connoisseur (tcc) at Atrium @Orchard, 19pm. There were 9 other members of the club which I cant remember all the names (hehe). I was enjoyed the meet up, a lot!! It somehow makes me feel enlightened. The author, Amy Ness has learned about Feng Shui and likes to share about what she knows. There was also a Feng Shui Connoisseur at the meet up. His name is Cyril Quah. He was sitting opposite me, so I do took some opportunities to ask him some questions about Feng Shui. Not to ask him reading mine of course. I just need to know his objectives.
So we were discussed about Ba Zi. It’s a fundamental method of finding out the destiny using four pillars based on the year, month, day and hour of the birth date. Each pillar is represented by one Heavenly Stem and one Earthly Branch. Each of those has its associated element and polarity (yin and yang). We will be able to determine destiny by looking at the relationship among the elements and polarity. Destiny is something that we have the love and hate relationship. We love our destiny when it is good. We hate it when it is bad. But from what I learned tonight, I believe there’s no such thing called “bad destiny”. Some people might be born with unfortunate conditions, but how they deal with it, that’s the thing that will bring them fortunes.
According to what Amy said, my Ba Zi day element is : Earth Snake. She mentioned too that my Ba Zi year element is Water Dog. She never really describe my characteristic according to my Ba Zi elements, but she did read some comments about how I have to deal in the year 2010 (I intend to keep it for myself )
After I reached home, me and my curiosity can’t stand a minute to googling about my Ba Zi, my destiny that somehow led me to this path of life. So I ended up on this link : http://www.adestiny.com/bazi_report/ and had a personal simple reading of mine. The result is 90% accurate.

So I guess I was destined to become a designer anyway and I’m happy to know that fact. I even tried it for my husband Ba Zi and again the reading is 90% accurate. So there’s such thing called destiny in our life. No matter what we do, we can’t run away from it. It’s the metaphysical things where the universe conspired to write our life right after we were born and had our first breath. As in Moslem, our destiny even written on the 40th days we become a fetus inside our mother’s womb. Bottom line is, destiny is something written, something originally yours, and it will bring harmony in your life if you can achieve your destiny. And I will keep this harmonious I've got at best. Thank you very much for Amy and other attandants for the precious thought that I learnt tonight. I'm so happy knowing that the real world still having nice people like all of you :)
cheers!!
