Not such a complicated person, perhaps that's how I describe myself.
Even Though. not so many people could understand me very well.
My name is Ira Sophia, was born in 1982, married happily, and working as an architect&interior designer based in Singapore (at least for now).
Since I was kid, I am a very stubborn person.
I would do anything that I could to make my dreams come true, that I consider as my positive side.
But sometimes, I become too focus on something, so that it makes me kinda blind&deaf for other things around me, that I consider as my negative side of me.
As a designer, specially building&space designer, I've been put all my effort to reach my dreams so far. Design is my passion, creating better space is my passion. There's nothing I rather do but designing for the rest of my life. Basically, I just love to make people realize that space is as important as the air that we breath, so make it simple, effectice and comfortable.
Design to me is like how I woke up every morning and start to arrange what to do and what not to do. Imagining what would happened in the afternoon if I eat toasted bread and a chocolate milk for my breakfast.
In other words, I work in progress, in process, to reach a (almost) perfect result. Because to me, nothing's perfect.
I'm a person who believe in luck. For me, everything is about 95% effort&pray and 4%luck. And fortunately this 4% of my life seems to be always stand beside me.

The next morning is even more and more tough. We knew our issue very well, but we still haven't found the perfect solution. Some ideas went one to another, and we were getting more frustrated.
This morning our teamate from Bosnia just joined us. Her name is Natasha, product designer. She has been very helpfull. Well at least I found someone I really can talk to beside Jim :) as they speaks English.
We came out with some sketches ao our own about any solutions that will applicable in our cases. Jim asked us to present it in front of all the teamates.
Just before lunch, Jim asked us to go out and refresh our mind. So I took a change to walk around the exhibition and looked around. I did feel refresh as the weather was so cold outside.
When we came back, ideas to ideas just explored. Some of them who refers to stay at the workshop even still try to think and share their ideas. Once in my life I experienced a total team work by people who just knew each other. And we did it very well.
None of us remember how we finally came accross the terminalogy of "having dog as pet". But it was very briliant idea. It's amazing how dogs motivates people to get out of their house. Dog needs to take a walk. But after we explore further about dogs, we felt that dogs have too big responsibility, specially for old lady like our partner.
So we think and think and came out with the fact that 90% of Korean people loves gardening. They love plantings and eating the fresh vegetables or fruits or spices. And in fact, our partner did has an orchard farm about 30 years ago, and she loves climbing the mountain almost everyday until now. There's also a lot of edible plants and flowers in Korea. And most of them like it fresh. And there it is!! We found a solutions. So instead of dogs as pets, we take plants as our solutions. From there, we explored further to make it more acceptable and applicable for our partner and also for everyone elses.
We started with some research about garden, allotment garden, guirella gardening, vertical garden, etc. Until we had "our garden" as our project. Thanx to everybody who works for their best, we were then moved on to our next stage : preparing for the visualisation and presentation tomorrow. We were left with another 18 hours to finish everything in time. But I really didn't worry so much since we all have so many different skills, so we can split the works. Alright team, make it works!!!
About 7pm, when we all busy with our tasks and I somehow forgot that day was my birthday, my team gave a super surprise. Suddenly someone swithed off the light and we all almost panic, we thought it was the electricity trips. But then JY and Hyunmin came into the room with a nice b-day cake :)
Apparently they aware of me&Phil's b-day. Phil's bday was 12 oct, and that day was mine. So we all celebrate together. I felt so happy and release, almost thought that I'm all alone with strangers on bday. Somehow it made me felt just like home, like I knew them for so long. Thank's to JY, a very gentleman :)
After that there was even more fantastic present from my lovely hubby. He sang my favorite song and posted it in youtube
It was a very sweet of him, I just missed him so much!! The whole day was so perfect as my birthday gift. Thank you Allah Almighty, all these are so amazingly touching me.
We were back to our hotel at 4am in the morning. Left with about 9 hours quite made me awake until 5am. I knew I had to have some sleep later it will be very hard works. But I had a very good feeling about it, looking at our team :) Hopefully I'm right.
