passion for fashion

I recently start to follow my heart doing things that is not related to architecture&interior. And I just found myself enjoy doing fashion design&production. It's a bit difficult at the first time, since I just learnd the proper way to make a dress.

This is the step-bystep thing that I have to do to make a dress :

1. Browse the magazine, internet for the latest fashion design.

2. Compare the cuts, the details and the fabrics to find the one that suits my body&skin.

3. Sketch the design, measure my own body, then came out with the pattern(I usually got the pattern from the my pattern collection that I bought, and make a bit adjustment from those)

4. List all the materials I need such as the threads, the details applications, the zipper, the fabrics(think about the colour&texture&prints before I go to the shops, otherwise it will took hours to choose on spot) etc.

5. Heading to Spotlight to find materials. Sometimes if I was unsure about how many materials I should buy, I will just show my sketch or pattern the shopkeeper and they will  know.

6. Start to cut my fabrics following the pattern. Then I can start to sew.

Magazine helps me to improve my sense of fashion design nowdays.

So far I made 2 dress and 2 tops with my own hands (with the help of my sewing machine of course).
